In the Valais, Sylvaner is more commonly known as Johannisberg. It needs to be grown in regions bathed in sun with good drainage, at medium altitudes. Quite rich and fruity, the Johannisberg brings with it an exotic touch. As this wine ages, it acqquires complex aromas and grows in character.

Enjoy with: Aperitif, asparagus, cooked and uncooked vegetables, Cream based chicken dishes.
